It is the tallest observatory in Jeollanam-do, measuring at 111 meters high, there are a hall, snack bar, and a souvenir shop on the first floor, and a restaurant and a raw fish restaurant on the second floor. You will gasp in awe at the view of Chilsan Beach and the surrounding land spread before your eyes when you reach the top. You can also view a magnificent sunset that paints the ocean scarlet at sundown. Recently, the Chilsan Bridge opened national highway 77 that connects Yeomsan-myeon, Yeonggwang-gun with Haejae-myeon, Muan-gun. This has drawn many tourists to the Chilsan Tower.
